Why Troll?

Trolls are people without pretense who enjoy poking holes in the people who are trapped in pretense. Ideotrolls do this to advance an agenda, namely "reality," in a modern society where it has gotten too easy to go into denial. Ideological trolling pokes holes in that facade and it is to that end infoterror.com is dedicated.

Reality as modern people see it is defined by social pretense. We assume certain things are fact and attack anyone who dares state that the emperor has no clothes. This is why trolls are anonymous. We know that the largest segment of society wants us to die for simply having realized these basic truths of reality. Most people prefer to be in denial.

This denial is protected by social pretense, like "morality" or "progress" or "status." Any time some upstanding member of the community is shocked their daughter is caught smoking crack, or is horrified by some realization from science or philosophy, social pretense is punctured. Social pretense is what protects the individual from critique.

In crowds, we love it because it makes our deficiencies sacred cows that cannot be slaughtered. If any troll rises up and points out the principle that makes us see our deficiencies, we want that person dead. Trolls however serve a useful purpose in that they re-introduce us to reality, and when we see reality, we have a chance of acting on it and producing a non-failing society. Our current society is failing, but it violates social pretense to say that. We keep polluting, going to tedious jobs where we accomplish nothing of value, chasing material solutions to our inner emptiness and living in the ugly commercial-symbol-ridden cities we have made. We are all miserable and none of us trusts society. At best, we get some kicks from feeling superior to others.

Civilizations like this die out because no one is committed to reality any longer. We live in this world of politeness where no one defecates or dies, and where everyone is "equal," and only bad people disagree. As humanity breeds out of control, uses up resources, and kills off anyone intelligent enough to see that we're living in our own techno-feces in ugly cities with ugly passive aggressive people, we come closer to again facing reality.

However, our society is designed around avoiding reality. We think it's more important if most people think they want something, than if it's actually what they need. This is expressed in our sacred cows of democracy, capitalism and equality. We like to think we endorse religious freedom, but really we only accept religions that please the crowd by telling them that if they sign here, they'll become immortal.

It's very immature. In fact, it's pathetic. Anyone with an IQ over 120 can look out at this society and see that it is essentially talking monkeys with car keys out of control, enforcing a fantasy world because they can't handle reality. Your society sucks. It produces nothing great, and in the name of making us all equal, it makes us equally miserable. Except for trolls.

Trolls are underworld insurgents. Because you the crowd have suppressed reality, you have created a false reality that floats on top of the physical reality in which sane people live. Yes, I called you all insane. Trolls connect the worlds by pointing out the contradictions in your "progressive" illusion. You claim that you know better, and are morally ahead, and trolls will force you to confront your real motivations: gaining status by putting other people down, stealing all the money you can, and hiding your perverse deficiencies with layers of pretense.

In the underworld, such motivations are recognized as real, because all we have in the underworld is reality itself. We don't trust the rest of you. We do trust our sense of realism, and we like it, because that way we do not become useless, neurotic, self-obsessed first world people with nothing of significance to do in their lives. Having reality to struggle for gives us meaning, even if we don't have BMWs.

We know you hate us because we are free of the neurosis. It is a devil's bargain to suspend reality for the comfortable world of your own mind and the products you buy. This materialist outlook saves you from criticism, but because you get no feedback from life, you drift farther and farther away from the meaning that comes from struggling to achieve something in life. You become useless, and hate yourself, and you hate us for telling you that.

The average person in this society would murder a troll if they could without getting caught. They would take away the source of income that troll has and starve him and his family. They would attempt to kill that troll's pets and murder her houseplants. They hate us. They hate us because we recognize reality, and instead of fighting for status, we live in reality. And those who are delusional hate anyone who doesn't share the delusion, because if even one person rises above, the surface tension that binds the crowd to illusion breaks.

We accept the term "troll" gladly and without fear. Our goal is to shatter your illusion before you drag us down with you and your failing, suicidal society. We have pride in ourselves, and so we will never accept the illusion. We know that a greater freedom than equality is found in escaping the parasitic need to engage in social pretense so some total idiot isn't offended.

Your world is the past. It has failed, but you don't know it yet. You hate us because we know it, and we're here to ram that down your throat, and then make you look like an idiot while you sputter angrily for air. And you will do it, too. People drugged on illusion hate nothing more than shatterers of that illusion, because that makes them look weak. We are those shatterers, and we know you hate us, and we welcome your hate.

What Trolls Believe

We are realists. We recognize that all things are interconnected and infinite (Blake) and therefore there is no such thing as a separate human reality. We are responsible to nature, and to the design of the cosmos, which is superior to human inventions. Of course, the crowd hates that because the universe brings death and defecation as well as infinity. For the crowd fear trumps reality.

As realists, we believe in an organic state of existence for humanity. This has several parts:

1. People are not equal. Not politically, not physically, not mentally. We are not equally capable nor will we receive equal reward in life. If you can't handle this, you are insane with pretense.

2. Natural selection is what keeps us from being awash in idiots and parasites like we are now. It's easy to live. Get a job, buy food with the credit card, get a TV and watch it. As a result, most of the people in this society are morons who drag us down by accepting lies where truth is needed.

3. Each ethnic group prefers its own space. Liberals want to make us one Grey Race because liberals are pretentious gits who want to feel superior to us because they have generous, inclusive philosophies. Capitalists want to make us one Grey Race because then we have nothing to do but buy their products, work for them at low cost, and lament our lost values, culture and meaning in life.

4. Money is a terrible way to design a society. If our only goal is making money, we have no leadership, and we cover earth in concrete and McDonald's and shopping malls. Then we all have to spend even more time at boring jobs to earn money. Technology was supposed to reduce the time we spend working, but the opposite happened.

5. Democracy is garbage. Most people are fools, and the choices they make are foolish. Democracy wants these foolish choices to rule us. You have to be insane to think it's a good idea.

6. Any open society will create a secret oligarchy. While you idiots are all pretending you're free and can say or do whatever you want, people who really want to be rich will secretly manipulate you. Terrorists hate your freedom. So do innocent people at Ruby Ridge. Left or right, doesn't make a difference.

7. Just because something's newer doesn't mean it's better.

8. Societies die by becoming disorganized, which is what happens when their members become so self-obsessed they can't collaborate.

9. Most of the rich are not that smart and only got rich by being devoted to earning money.

10. Most of the poor are dysfunctional and will always be poor because they are disorganized, stupid or insane.

11. The sexual revolution resulted in ugly men with money carrying off the best girls. Their kids are half-ugly and dumb.

12. Your leaders are whores, not leaders. They do what they think you want. This always fails.

13. The media is a business with no legal obligation to tell the truth.

14. People get fat, stupid, lazy and drive SUVs because they have nothing worth fighting for in their lives. People need struggle to find meaning in life, and to weed out the weak.

All of these truths terrify people and should be used to make them angry. They will be passive aggressive, meaning that they will try to construe the troll as the aggressor. The smart troll laughs them off and points out where they are being unjust, inequitable, angry/mean or stupid. They will then panic, freak out and get angry, and prove to the world that the troll was right all along.
