Aspies, Geeks, Malcontents –

Lend me your ears.

The posts of the man above have been an experiment in contrasting the social alienation and truth-mania of Asperger’s syndrome (which many of you have; it’s superior to neurotypicality for finding technical answers to non-linear problems) with the ambiguity of another potentially-ostracized but socially-accepted group.

For Distribution: Blaspherian interview

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

Blaspherian comes from Houston, Texas, and makes old school death metal with its own voice. Their music does not sound like any known band but is clearly influenced by the old school of booming, primitive, dark, introspective and alienated metal. Formed in 2004, Blaspherian arose from the collaboration of Wes Infernal — formerly of Infernal Dominion and Imprecation — and Desekrator, but rapidly branched out to include Matt Mayhem on drums and Apollyon on vocals and bass.

Call to action: Troll the self-righteous

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

A certain group of World of Warcraft player committed a desecration against an ancient Buddhist symbol of peace, and seem to think they’re clever for it:

1-300x200

While stopping to get a better look at the corpses, Bowtox realises that the pattern is, in fact, a Swastika. On closer investigation, it becomes obvious that the corpses have been deliberately arranged in order to form this shape. As a group begins to form around the symbol, local and general chat channels fill with character speculation regarding the symbol’s meaning.

When realising each of the corpses have names with racist overtones, Bowtox sees the symbol as sinister. He decides to encourage a spontaneous mob-based action to counteract any negativity involved.
